I believe there is some deep rooted echo in our DNA when it comes to the campfire and it’s rituals. Even to the uninitiated, I see the immediate attraction stirring in the beating heart that edges ever near it’s fiery center, and watch the lull of contentment seep into faces with the warm glow radiating off soft smiles [I know – just go with it for a minute] . . .
” Is it any wonder we ache for a reminder of a simpler time when campfire lore and storytelling reigned supreme . . .
Well, my trusty compadres, I’m happy to share that this art form is not dead, but rather is veritably thriving in some circles [ahem] . . .
But seriously – there is no better cure for our over-stressed, over-stimulated lives than settling down around a flickering flame and sharing stories – and if some of us need a little help in the “story” department, well . . . have I got NEWS for you . . .
